Company Requirements
Applicants to the Alberta IoT Start-Up Visa Program must be a scale-up company with a minimum of 2 years of proven revenue and work in the IoT and/or Emerging Tech industry.

Ownership Structure
The applicants must jointly hold over 50% of the total voting rights outstanding at that time. A maximum of 5 individuals are eligible to apply under one application with each applicant holding 10% or more of total voting rights.
Active Management
As a successful Start-Up Visa candidate, you must commit to provide active and ongoing management of the business from within Alberta for at least 2 years, ensuring your direct involvement in its growth and success.
Program Pricing
To best serve our candidates, we offer two pricing packages. Both packages entail a flat fee price for an application with one founder and an incremental fee per additional founder listed on the application.
